Compensation: $46,000
What Will You Do?
Tasks and Responsibilities
Social Media
- Creating social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Alignable and any other platforms the company may incorporate in its operations
- Editing existing posts as needed
- Updating social media monthly schedule
Youtube
- Recording and editing videos according to the company’s requirements
- Optimizing videos for Search Engine discoverability including inserting metadata and Schema details
Website
- Writing blog posts of specific lengths according to the company’s marketing plan and input from senior team members
- Editing blog posts in WordPress following templates
- Optimizing posts for Search Engine discoverability including inserting keywords and key phrases, metadata and Schema details

Marketing Manager
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute
- Ability to create a 2000 blog draft in maximum 2 hours.
- Ability to write concise, clear, effective content
- Ability to imagine a target audience and tailor write for them
- Ability to follow instruction
- Attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to work on repeated tasks
- Ability and willingness to follow outlines and templates
Education and Experience:
- Degree in digital content creation, marketing, theatre, journalism, or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in content creation
- At least 5 published blogs longer than 1500 words
- Knowledge and experience in video and audio recording and editing
- Extensive knowledge of Canadian and international theatre
Skills:
- QR code generation
- Keyword research
- SEO Optimization
Languages:
English (advanced), French and any other language is considered an asset
Drivers License:
G license is considered an asset
Software experience:
WordPress, Google Drive, Yoast
Training and certificates:
Typing speed certificate
Additional Requirements:
Residents of Mississauga with an artist education or experience will be given priority in hiring
