The InspiraTO Festival will kick of on June 10th 2023, with 11 staged readings of new Canadian plays. The staged readings will be performed by the Summer Ensemble 2023.

About InspiraTO Festival and Crane Creations:

InspiraTO Festival, renowned for its dedication to promoting the ten-minute play art form, will be leading the training, selection, and curation of playwrights for this unique festival. Their Playwriting Academy will be hosting a series of workshops starting in March 2023, providing participants with invaluable insights into the craft of writing a ten-minute play. This academy also offers the exciting opportunity for select plays to be performed at the InspiraTO Creations Theatre Festival.

Crane Creations Theatre Company, a professional not-for-profit theatre company based in Mississauga, is proud to collaborate with InspiraTO Festival. The InspiraTO Creations Theatre Festival, 10 minute stage play readings will take place on June 10th 2023 at the magnificent Maja Prentice Theatre, a 200-seat venue known for its excellent acoustics and intimate atmosphere. We invite all residents of the Greater Toronto Area who are interested in exploring their creativity, both as audience members and aspiring playwrights, to participate in this exciting event.
