ABOUT THE PLAY
“Goats” explores the absurdity of war and the lies we choose to believe as a society. Set in a Syrian village where goats are given to the families of fallen soldiers. When first staged, the play used live goats, adding a sense of realism and unintended comedy. Inspired by real villages and true events, the narrative delves into the horrors, compromises, and absurdity of war.
