ABOUT THE FILM MAKER
Marat Narimanov was born in 1981 in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from school as a cameraman. For a dozen years worked in Moscow drama theatres. Marat now works as an illustrator/designer and animation film director. His previous film, Big Booom, premiered at Sitges and was a huge worldwide success, with screenings at more than 300 festivals including Zagreb animated FF, Palm Springs Shortfest, Flickerfest, Cleveland International film festival, Busan International Short film festival and many other, receiving 29 awards, the most important ones at Clermont- Ferrand, Curtocircuito and Interfilm Berlin. The film has been acquired by Canal+, HBO Eastern Europe, as well as a couple of other companies and had a limited release in several countries: Russia, Germany, and Spain. In Spain it participated in all-country projections via El Dia mes Curt.
