Puppet Festival Mississauga’s March Break Puppet Camp is the perfect place for creative kids who love crafts, theatre, and puppets! Our camp is for ages 5–12 and runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It offers a fun, hands-on introduction to the world of puppetry.

What is Puppet Camp
Camp Schedule
- Monday March 16 - Campers will start the week with an introduction to types puppetry from around the world. Then, they'll start their very own giant shadow puppet project.
- Tuesday March 17 - Learn to be Junior Juriors. Campers will find out what makes a good puppet show and they'll receive their very own Junior Juror kits that they'll use to judge the Puppet Festival Mississauga shows throughout the rest of the week.
- Wednesday March 18 - Meet the Artist Day! Campers will get a special visit with one of the professional puppeteers performing at the Festival. They will also get an exclusive behind the scenes look at one of our festival theatres and find out what it's like to be a professional puppeteer.
- Thursday March 19 - Campers will be become part of the festival when they put their own shadow puppet project on display.
- Friday March 20 - It's Jury Day! It's time for the Junior Jurors to decide which Puppet Festival Mississauga shows will get an award.
