The role of the Partnerships Outreach and Sponsorships Manager encompasses the vital task of amplifying outreach initiatives to not only enhance our audience base but also elevate ticket revenue. Additionally, this role involves the acquisition and nurturing of valuable partnerships and sponsorships. The incumbent will engage with the vibrant local communities of Peel, spanning Brampton, Caledon, Malton, Oakville, and Mississauga, with the primary aim of boosting attendance figures and bolstering ticket sales. This concerted effort aligns with our objective of not only attracting new attendees but also cultivating a loyal and growing base of returning patrons.

What Will You Do?
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Outreach Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive outreach strategies to expand the theatre company’s presence within local and regional communities.
- Identify target demographics and devise plans to effectively reach and engage them.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach efforts with overall promotional campaigns.
- Community Engagement:
- Cultivate relationships with local organizations, schools, community centers, and other institutions to establish the theatre company as a valued cultural contributor.
- Participate in community events, and discussions to foster meaningful connections and generate interest in the theatre’s productions.
- Partnership Acquisition and Management:
- Research, identify, and approach potential partners including businesses, nonprofits, and cultural organizations to establish mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, outlining terms, benefits, and expectations for both parties.
- Maintain ongoing communication and rapport with partners, ensuring their needs are met and the partnership remains productive.
- Sponsorship Development:
- Develop a sponsorship program to attract financial support from corporate sponsors, individual donors, and philanthropic organizations.
- Create sponsorship packages that highlight the benefits and exposure sponsors will receive through their support.
- Manage relationships with sponsors, providing regular updates on the impact of their contributions and maintaining a high level of transparency.
- Revenue Generation:
- Reach revenue targets related to ticket sales, partnerships, and sponsorships.
- Monitor progress toward these targets and implement adjustments to strategies as needed to ensure revenue goals are met or exceeded.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data related to outreach efforts, attendance patterns, and revenue streams to assess the effectiveness of strategies.
- Prepare regular reports for the management team, highlighting key insights and suggesting improvements based on data analysis.
- Brand Ambassadorship:
- Represent Crane Creations Theatre Company at networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to enhance the company’s reputation and forge new connections.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, production, and artistic, to ensure a unified approach to outreach and partnership activities.
- Communicate the company’s mission, values, and impact to stakeholders, partners, and sponsors.
- Innovation and Adaptation:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving audience preferences to innovate outreach and engagement strategies.
- Budget Management:
- Work within allocated budgets for outreach, partnerships, and sponsorships, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum impact.
In this role, the Outreach, Sponsorship, and Partnerships Manager plays a pivotal role in extending the theatre company’s reach, fostering connections, and securing valuable collaborations that contribute to the company’s success and cultural impact.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Arts Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in outreach, partnership development, sponsorship, or a related role, preferably within the arts and culture sector.
- Experience in event planning, community engagement, or public relations is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a knack for building mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to devise innovative outreach and engagement strategies.
- Project management skills to coordinate events, campaigns, and partnerships effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM software and tools for tracking partnerships, sponsors, and community engagement.
- ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including community leaders, businesses, sponsors, and nonprofit organizations.
- A network of existing contacts within the local arts and cultural scene or relevant industries is a plus.
- Experience working with diverse communities and fostering inclusivity in outreach efforts is a plus.
- Knowledge of the local cultural landscape and demographics within the Crane Creations Theatre Company’s operational area.
Languages:
English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Drivers License:
G1 or G drivers license
Software experience:
Knowledge or willingness to learn how to use Google suite, Excel/Numbers and Word/Pages suite, Slack and other software.
Additional Requirements:
Being a resident of Mississauga or the Region of Peel is considered an asset
