About Aayush Quanoongo

Aayushmaan Quanoongo is a passionate theatre artist who thrives both on stage and behind the scenes, bringing creativity, precision, and dedication to every production. He performs in a wide range of works across the GTA, including Extremes with The Quanoongo Productions at Zip Fest 2025, Turbulence with Mehar Theatre Company at Zip Fest 2025, and Kastoori with Sawitri Theatre Group at the English Shorts Festival 2025. He also appears in the feature film Desi Fiction with Reelflare Productions in 2024, and earlier contributes to multiple Sawitri Theatre productions such as The Price of Onions, Directors Cut, and Akbar Birbal and the Monkey Hair at the English Shorts Festival 2024. His additional credits include Hashtag Main with Paperboats Productions at the Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival 2023 and voiceover narration in Charlie the Chaplin with Sawitri Theatre Group at the Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival 2022. 

Alongside acting, Aayushmaan builds extensive experience in technical theatre, working in sound, lighting, visual design, and backstage management with Sawitri Theatre Group, AJ Dreams Creation, Paperboats Productions, The Quanoongo Productions, and Crane Creations Theatre Company. He volunteers with Crane Creations, supporting community-driven performance while refining his technical expertise. His festival involvement includes the Mississauga Multilingual Fringe Festival and Zip Fest, where he earns recognition such as the Most Enthusiastic Team Award. With additional achievements from the Hindi Writers Guild and recognition by the Indian Consulate General in Canada, Aayushmaan continues to pursue theatre as both an art and a community space, contributing his skills with passion and commitment

Education

Aayushmaan Quanoongo is currently studying at St. Marcellinus Secondary School in Ontario, where he maintains strong academic standing and consistently earns honor roll recognition. He learns theatre through hands-on experience, actively performing and volunteering with companies across the GTA, including Sawitri Theatre Group, Paperboats Productions, AJ Dreams Creation, Crane Creations Theatre Company, and The Quanoongo Productions. His education combines classroom learning with practical training in acting, technical theatre, and leadership. By immersing himself in community festivals, productions, and workshops, he continues to develop his skills in performance, sound, lighting, and stage management while building confidence as a versatile theatre artist.

Work Experience

He has volunteered and contributed technically for several productions with companies including Sawitri, AJ Dreams Creation, and The Quanoongo Productions. His work spans acting, stage management, and technical support, demonstrating versatility and dedication to bringing creative visions to life. He has collaborated closely with directors, assisted in organizing performances, and supported backstage operations, ensuring seamless execution of shows while honing his craft both on and off stage.
