An Interview with Qurratul Ain Saeed.
How did you get involved in working in film and animation?
My work involves trying many different mediums to tell the story of my art, therefore animation was the natural transition from still images. It felt a necessary exercise to explore some of my artistic ideas. In my work I am exploring different mediums to study the overlapping spaces between art, poetry, science and personal history.
What is one piece of advice you could give who is interested in going into film and animation?
I would say watch a lot of different kinds of films & animations; the weird and strange and everything in the middle. To be open to accepting all forms of ideas is one of the greatest joys of learning the art of animation.
Why do you love animation?
Animation allows the impossible; the wildest imaginations can become visuals, and easily believable.
